REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

Regular memberships are available to experienced licensed physicians or other health professionals at the doctoral level who devote a majority of their professional activity to cancer patient care and/or research or education in the biology, diagnosis, prevention or treatment of hematologic malignancies. Membership is free of charge.

AFFILIATED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

Available to affiliated health professionals including nurses, physician assistants and other health specialists who devote a majority of their professional activity to the care and treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies. Membership is limited to those who care for patients, engage in clinical trials, play a role in patient advocacy, research, policy or provide programs, products, services, information and support for patients with hematologic malignancies. Membership is free of charge.

Allied Physician/Doctoral Scientist

Available to physicians and other health professionals at the doctoral level (eg, basic scientists, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, public health specialists, nurses, etc) or individuals with equivalent academic ranks who are not eligible for Regular Membership and who have a predominant interest in the biology, diagnosis, prevention or treatment of hematologic malignancies. Membership is free of charge.

Int'l Corresponding Member

Available to experienced licensed physicians who are eligible for Regular Membership but who reside in a developing nation or a nation with a low per capita income. Those that reside in eligible countries and who meet these requirements have the option of applying for Regular Membership or International Corresponding Membership. Membership is free of charge.

STUDENT/NON-ONCOLOGY RESIDENT

Available to medical residents, medical students, graduate students and undergraduate students who are enrolled in a biomedical, nursing or allied health program, and who have a predominant interest in the biology, diagnosis, prevention or treatment of human cancer. Membership is free of charge.

MEMBER IN-TRAINING

Available to physicians and other health professionals who are participating in a subspecialty training program in oncology or another field that would lead to eligibility for Regular or Allied memberships. Membership is free of charge.
